On November 2nd we commemorate All Souls Day and remember together in prayer those who have died. As you call to mind those you love and admire who have passed, I invite you to send your memorial petitions, so we can deliver them to the altar of St. Jude. They will be prayed for in a special way during our All Souls liturgies on November 2nd at the National Shrine of St. Jude in Chicago. In the faith that we will one day be united with God and all those who have died, we pray our Prayer to St. Jude for All Souls. Prayer to St. Jude for All Souls You give me hope, St. Jude, in the face of loss and sorrow. I pray that you will intercede for all souls, to help guide them to eternal rest with Christ. May the hope that you offer be a source of comfort to all those who grieve. For in that hope and through our faith, we experience God’s love for us, and trust in His promise of eternal life. Amen. Add the names of your loved ones to the comments section, if you like.

For Pauline, Mercedes, Melissa, Martin, and all my dearly departed family and friends. Eternal rest, grant unto them O Lord. May Angels surround them, and Saints welcome them in peace. May they gaze upon you face to face, and know the blessedness of perfect peace. And may the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6
